The festival “WeCasablanca” will be held from 21st to 24th October at the Parc of Vélodrome in Casablanca with a rich and varied artistic program, as well as an exceptional animation.
During a press conference held on Wednesday in Casablanca, the general manager of the Local Development Company Casablanca Events and animation, Mohamed Jouahri, said that this event that coincides with the celebration of the 5th anniversary of the territorial brand “WeCasablanca”, will be marked by the participation of various renowned artists and will shed light on promising talent that will impress the audience.
“Such an outstanding cultural season of the city will be bring back delight to experience joyful journeys”, he said, adding that the stage of the Parc of Vélodrome will mark great Moroccan voices, “four days that will swing between unmissable national music featured with inspiring tunes, in the image of diversity, creativity, and openness to the world inscribed in the DNA of Casablanca”.
“In order to expand the audience, the festival will be accessible in person and live on social networks as a meeting space for lovers of different music styles inside and outside Morocco”, he added.
Presenting the program of this edition, Mr. Jouahri stressed that for the opening night, the sublime voices of Sanaa Marahati, Marouane Hajji, and Abderrahim Souiri will take the festival-goers on a journey through the most beautiful poems of Andalusian music and Malhoune.
Wishing to highlight the talent of Moroccan youth “WeCasablanca Festival” has decided to close its 2021 edition in the most beautiful way by bringing together on stage the finalists of Stud Live, this digital artistic platform that brought together, during this edition, more than 900 candidates from ten cities of the Kingdom. Thanks to this competition, the most brilliant talents will benefit from coaching and professional audio-video recording.
