Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sanchez, reaffirmed the “solid ties” uniting Morocco and Spain, welcoming the dynamic cooperation and “strategic partnership” between the two Kingdoms.
In an article published on July 10 in the Spanish magazine “Politica Exterior,” Sanchez emphasized that “within the framework of Spanish foreign policies, Spain has strong ties with Morocco, of all kinds, but above all the ties created by Moroccan and Spanish citizens and companies.”
“Spain is Morocco’s leading trading partner and third-largest investor,” recalled the Spanish Prime Minister in this article entitled “Un país responsable, comprometido y solidario.”
The Spanish official also praised the outcomes of the 12th Morocco-Spain High-Level Meeting (HLM), held on February 1 and 2 in Rabat and crowned by the signing of approximately “twenty agreements.”
“We are committed to further promoting a strategic relationship with Morocco by consolidating the roadmap agreed upon in 2022,” concluded Sanchez.
