Morocco’s Ambassador to Russia, Lotfi Bouchaara, held talks, on July 19 in Moscow, with the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and Africa and Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Mikhail Bogdanov, on the development of bilateral relations and the Russia-Africa Summit.
The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported in a statement that “during this meeting, Bouchaara and Bogdanov discussed current issues relating to the steady development of traditional Russian-Moroccan relations and the maintenance of an active political dialogue on regional issues of mutual interest.”
The Russian ministry also stated that the two sides discussed the upcoming Russia-Africa Summit, scheduled between July 27 and 29 in Saint Petersburg.
