A unit of the Royal Moroccan Air Force, in collaboration with the Royal Navy, provided assistance, 55 km away from Laâyoune, to 12 Sub-Saharan Africans, including a minor, seeking irregular migration
According to a press release from the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), after locating the individuals reported in distress, stuck in a cliff, the team of rescuers successfully conducted the evacuation operation.
The individuals were then provided them with the necessary aid before being entrusted to the Royal Gendarmerie for the standard administrative procedures, concludes the press release.
