The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates affirmed that the agreement on the mutual recognition of driving licenses, signed on March 27 between Morocco and Italy, aims to facilitate conversion procedures for Moroccans living in Italy.
This agreement “reflects the constant mobilization of the Moroccan government in favor of the defense of the interests of Moroccans residing abroad, in accordance with the Very High Directions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI”, stated the ministry in a communiqué.
It should be recalled that the agreement on the mutual recognition of driving licenses was signed by Morocco’s Ambassador to Italy, Youssef Balla, and the Vice-President of the Italian Council of Ministers, Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Matteo Salvini.
