The Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication, Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, and his Senegalese counterpart, Aliou Sow, signed, on January 8, in Dakar, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen cultural cooperation.
This memorandum, initialed as part of Morocco’s participation as a guest country of honor in the 12th edition of the National Festival of Arts and Cultures (FESNAC), aims to develop and strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the fields of culture, arts, and heritage.
Through this agreement, the two parties are committed to encouraging cooperation and cultural exchanges between Morocco and Senegal, particularly in the areas of the promotion of arts and culture, the preservation of heritage, and capacity building.
The signing ceremony of this memorandum of understanding took place in the Moroccan space at the African Renaissance Monument Museum in the presence of His Majesty the King’s ambassador to Senegal, Hassan Naciri, and members of the Moroccan delegation accompanying Minister Bensaid.
