Senior officials of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Morocco and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia held Wednesday in Riyadh the third meeting of the Political Consultation and the Follow-up committees.
The Saudi Press Agency reported that the two parties examined ways to strengthen the historical and strategic ties uniting Morocco and Saudi Arabia in several fields, adding that they also exchanged views on several regional and international issues of common interest.
The meeting was chaired by Saudi Arabia’s Assistant Minister of State for African Countries Affairs, Ambassador Sami bin Abdullah Al-Saleh, while the Moroccan delegation was led by Director General of Bilateral Relations, Fouad Yazough, in the presence of Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Morocco, Abdullah bin Saad Al-Ghurairy, Morocco’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Mustapha Mansouri, and several other officials from the Moroccan and Saudi Foreign Ministries.
