Morocco and the African Development Bank (AfDB) signed, on October 24 in Rabat, three funding agreements, totaling over MAD 2,9 billion, covering inclusive access to health infrastructure, the generalization of social insurance, and emergency assistance in the context of Al Haouz earthquake.
The first agreement aims to fund the Support Program for Inclusive Access to Health Infrastructure (PAAIIS) and amounts to €120 million (≈ MAD 1,3 billion).
The second agreement will finance the Support Program for the Generalization of Social Security Coverage for Better Employability (PAGSC-II) for a total of €149 million (≈ MAD 1,6 billion).
The third agreement provides $1 million in funding for emergency assistance in the wake of Al Haouz earthquake (≈ MAD 10,35 million).
