Moroccan Youssef Assouik was crowned Saturday in France, Champion of the WMC Muay Thai World Championship in the 72,5 kg category.
Assouik defeated French reigning champion Jimmy Vieot, subsequently claiming the champion title, an additional achievement to his previous titles won during the Arab Championship held recently in Abu Dhabi and the WMC European Championship held in December 2022, in Sweden.
This gold medal is another win added to the titles that the Moroccan Muay Thai team holds, including the gold medal in the UAE Muay Thai Championship in 2022.
