President of the Mexican Senate’s Justice Committee, Olga Sanchez Cordero, stressed that Morocco’s virtuous development dynamic and constructive international cooperation have promoted the Kingdom as an international “model to follow.”
During a visit to the Moroccan residence in Mexico to extend her congratulations on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of the accession of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to the throne of His glorious Ancestors, the Mexican official stated that the development process that Morocco has undergone in recent years is an example for the countries of the South and emerging countries to follow.
The Mexican Senator underlined that this development dynamic has enabled the Kingdom to outline the key areas for constructive and multidimensional cooperation, noting that Latin American countries should be inspired by the development underway in several Moroccan regions, including the Moroccan Sahara, particularly in terms of green economy projects, renewable energies, and infrastructures.
Sanchez Cordero also stated that the far-sighted Vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI has given a strong impetus to this development dynamic, which is supported by structural reforms and far-reaching economic and social transformation.
In a similar context, the Mexican official hailed the production of the first car “made in Morocco,” thanks to national skills and Moroccan funding, as well as the presentation of the first prototype of a hydrogen-powered car developed by a young Moroccan.
The former Mexican Minister of Interior recalled that during her recent visit to Morocco, she had explored several major strategic projects, such as the Tangier Med port and the expansion of the motorway and rail network, as well as the launch of the high-speed line (LGV) and the production of renewable and clean energies.
Sanchez Cordero also congratulated His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the Moroccan government, and Moroccans on the occasion of the glorious Throne Day.
