Intervening at a high-level panel organized as part of the 9th Dakar International Forum on Peace and Security in Africa, the Senegalese President stressed that France, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, and the United States are Senegal’s traditional partners.
“We have strong traditions, through special relations with France, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, and the United States,” explained President Macky Sall, stressing the need to further consolidate these relations.
The Senegalese President stressed that Senegal’s foreign policy is based on openness and win-win partnerships, adding that this approach “preserves our traditional friendships and welcomes new prospects in the context of globalization, to make the most of our relations with all other friendly countries”.
President Macky Sall also praised the work accomplished by Senegalese diplomats in giving substance to the vision of Senegal’s foreign policy.
It should be recalled that Senegal is Morocco’s main economic partner in Africa and the first country to sign a reciprocal agreement with the Kingdom.
