Her attempt to conquer such an intractable challenge turned out to be a great achievement made so far, not only concerning her athletic talent, but also a new phase in her entire career. Sarah Harachi, Moroccan judoka, won the gold medal in the – 63 kg category at the European Open judo in Malaga on Saturday, October 23rd, 2021.
It is a flawless course for Sarah Harachi who beat the Spanish judoka Padilla Guerrero Sarai in the final. She advanced to the quarterfinals by defeating Nadia Krachten of the Netherlands.
For the quarterfinals, she had the upper hand by eliminating the German Winzig Annabelle. Then, she qualified for the final after defeating the French Gaetane Deberdt.
At the age of 25, Sarah Harachi won two medals at the French 1st division championship. She also placed third at the 2015 World Junior championships. In 2017, Sarah won the Jeux de la Francophonie.
