His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a message of congratulations to the President of the Republic of Senegal, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, on the occasion of his country’s national day.
In this message, the Sovereign expressed to Bassirou His warmest wishes for happiness and prosperity for the Senegalese people.
In the same context, His Majesty the King commended the deep ties of brotherhood between the Moroccan and Senegalese people and the traditional and singular friendship uniting the two countries, expressing His willingness to work jointly with the new Senegalese President to strengthen Moroccan-Senegalese cooperation both bilaterally and regionally.
“I look forward to working jointly with Your Excellency to consolidate the ever more solid, close, and strengthened Moroccan-Senegalese cooperation both bilaterally and regionally, within the framework of a dynamic and mutually beneficial partnership for the youth of our two countries”, affirmed His Majesty the King.
The Sovereign also seized this opportunity to renew His congratulations and wishes for success in the high mission entrusted to the newly elected president in the service of Senegal and the Senegalese people.
