A heat wave is expected from March 16 to 18 in several of the Kingdom’s provinces with temperatures ranging between 32 and 41°C.
According to an orange alert bulletin from the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM), temperatures ranging between 36 and 41°C are expected from March 16 to 18 in the provinces of Inezgane-Ait Melloul, Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, Tiznit, Taroudant, Chtouka-Ait Baha, Guelmim, Sidi Ifni, Tan-Tan, Assa-Zag, Boujdour, Laayoune, Es-Semara, Tarfaya, Aousserd and Oued Ed-Dahab.
Hot weather with temperatures between 34 and 38°C is expected between March 16 and 18 in the provinces of Fquih Ben Salah, Beni Mellal, Settat, El Jadida, Sidi Bennour, Marrakech, Essaouira, El Kelaa des Sraghna, Chichaoua, Azilal, Al -Haouz, Rehamna, Safi and Youssoufia.
Similar weather conditions with temperatures between 32 and 35°C are forecast on March 16 in the provinces of Berrechid, Benslimane, Nouaceur, Casablanca, Mediouna, Mohammedia, Khemisset and Skhirate-Temara.
