The Moroccan Taekwondo selection collected seven medals, including two golds, at the G2 International Taekwondo Open held on July 24 and 25 in the Senegalese capital Dakar.
Moroccan Fatima Zahra Aboufirass snatched gold (+73 kg), Oumaima Boumah won gold (-73 kg), and Sakina Saheb took home silver (-46 kg).
The four bronze medals were awarded to Faisal Saidi and Ouasfi Abdelbasset (-68 kg), Youssef Bouätriss (-80 kg), and Hatim Barhou (-54 kg).
Moroccan athletes displayed an impressive performance in this competition, which saw the participation of the host country Senegal, in addition to Tunisia, Côte d’Ivoire, and Egypt.
The Moroccan selection participating in this competition was led by Abdelkader Zrouri and Issam Chernoubi.
