Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, received His Excellency Elias Lopes Andrade.
Minister Bourita held a meeting, on August 31 in Rabat, with H.E. Lopes Andrade, who handed over the figured copies of his credentials as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cabo Verde to His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
Following this meeting, the Government Council, which took place under the chairmanship of Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, was briefed on the reciprocal investment promotion and protection agreement (APPI) between Morocco and Cabo Verde, and draft law number 32.23 approving the agreement.
The reciprocal investment promotion and protection agreement (APPI), signed on May 9 in Rabat, was presented by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita.
According to the Minister Delegate in charge of Relations with Parliament, Mustapha Baitas, this agreement reflects Morocco and Cabo Verde’s commitment to strengthening their economic cooperation and boosting investment, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the economic, social, and environmental fields.
