FAR units in charge of border surveillance in Nador, M’diq, and Fnideq carried out, during the night from December 31st to January 1st several operations to intercept candidates seeking irregular migration.
According to a press release, units of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) intercepted, in the city of Nador, a total of 175 candidates from different nationalities (Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, and Yemen).
During operations carried out in the aforementioned cities including local authorities and law enforcement, the units also took part in the interception of a total of 935 candidates who were preparing to leave Morocco for Spain.
