The President of the Higher Council for Education, Training, and Scientific Research (CSEFRS), Habib El Malki, held Wednesday in Rabat a meeting with the European Union’s (EU) Ambassador to Morocco, Patricia Llombart Cussac, to discuss partnership in the fields of education, training, and scientific research.
The Higher Council for Education, Training, and Scientific Research (CSEFRS) said in a statement that the meeting was an opportunity to explore cooperation opportunities and ways to strengthen collaboration between Morocco and the European Union (EU) in terms of the Integrated Training and Education Support Program in Morocco (PIAFE), launched in 2020, which aims to strengthen interdisciplinarity and action pooling of the structures relating to the education and training system in Morocco.
Speaking on this occasion, Llombart Cussac highlighted the main areas of the Integrated Training and Education Support Program in Morocco (PIAFE) in accompanying and implementing the process of Framework Law 51.17, stressing the importance of accelerating the Program’s implementation to achieve its objectives.
For his part, El Malki welcomed the relevance of the efforts made by the European Union (EU) in supporting the implementation of educational reform, indicating that this partnership goes beyond the technical aspect of the reform to cover all the dimensions necessary to reform the education system and ensure lifelong learning.
The President of the Council also praised the holding of a meeting between the National Assessment Agency, the European Union’s (EU) Delegation in charge of education and training, and experts of the monitoring mission of the Integrated Training and Education Support Program in Morocco (PIAFE), noting that this meeting would be an opportunity to strengthen cooperation between the two parties.
