The President of the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA), Florizelle Liser, highlighted Morocco’s strong potential in terms of trade and investment, on the sidelines of the 16th US-Africa Business Summit.
In a statement to Maghreb Arabe Presse (MAP), Liser noted that Morocco is the United States’ only free trade partner on the African continent and the leading investor in sub-Saharan Africa.
“We are therefore very pleased to welcome a high-level delegation to this year’s summit in Dallas, led by the Minister Delegate for Investment, Convergence, and Evaluation of Public Policies, Mohcine Jazouli,” said the official.
In a similar context, Liser recalled the 2020 US-Africa Business Summit organized in Marrakech under the High patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, describing it as a “huge” success.
The 16th US-Africa Business Summit features high-level discussions between U.S. and African governments and private sector leaders on key issues and sectors impacting trade, investment, and business between the two parties.
Bringing together more than 1,500, the Summit aims to enable leaders to connect with government and private sector decision-makers over the course of four days to forge sustainable business partnerships between the United States and Africa.
