Barid Al-Maghrib celebrates, in partnership with the Hassania School of Public Works (EHTP), the fiftieth anniversary of this great school with the special issue of a postage stamp highlighting the excellence Morocco in terms of training engineers specializing in major infrastructure projects. An unveiling ceremony for this special program was organized on Thursday, June 09, 2022 at the Barid Al-Maghrib Museum in Rabat in the presence of Messrs. Ryad Mezzour, Minister of Industry and Trade, Amin Benjelloun Touimi, General Manager of the Barid Al Group -Maghrib and Najib El Karkouri, Director of the EHTP.
Founded in 1971, the EHTP was first devoted to training in professions relating to infrastructure and high-stakes resources such as water and energy, before being gradually transformed into a multidisciplinary establishment offering different courses and having trained more than 6500 engineers since its creation.
This special issue of postage stamps enriches the philatelic collection issued in commemoration of various anniversaries of Moroccan institutions. Examples include: the centenary of the first school of ceramics in Morocco-Safi in 2020, the 50th anniversary of INSEA in 2011, the 30th anniversary of the creation of Cadi Ayyad-Marrakech University in 2009, the 50th anniversary of the creation of Mohammed V-Agdal University in 2007 and the 1100th anniversary of the founding of Karaouiyne University in 1960.
