The Atlas Lions are still on gear up mode as they prepare for their friendly match against Peru, which will take place on Tuesday at Civitas Metropolitano stadium in Madrid.
The Moroccan football team held its first training session on Sunday, shortly after their arrival at Real Madrid’s training center. The session was marked by the absence of rising star Azzedine Ounahi due to injury.
The Morocco-Peru friendly is a highly-anticipated match, one that all football enthusiasts are waiting for, especially after the extraordinary performance that the Atlas Lions displayed during their first friendly against the Brazilian Seleçao.
It should be recalled that the Atlas Lions won against Brazil on Saturday (2-1), becoming the first Arab country to beat the South American team.
