Angola commended, on July 11 in Rabat, the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI in terms of migration at both the African and international levels.
In a joint communiqué issued following the works of the 3rd session of the Morocco-Angola Joint Cooperation Commission, co-chaired by Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, and his Angolan counterpart, Téte Antonio, the Angolan minister praised Morocco’s vision for an emerging, stable, and prosperous Africa.
For his part, Bourita praised the significant role played by His Excellency Angolan President João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço in his capacity as the African Union’s (AU) Champion for Peace and Reconciliation in Africa.
On this occasion, Bourita and Antonio discussed regional and international issues of common interest, affirming their countries’ commitment to contributing to the development of the African continent while maintaining peace and security.
Bourita and Antonio also held a series of highly constructive discussions, during which they praised the excellent friendship and solidarity uniting Morocco and Angola.
The Moroccan foreign minister and his Angolan counterpart further commended the friendly and respectful ties uniting the two countries’ Heads of State, His Majesty King Mohammed VI and His Excellency João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço.
