In preparation for the 2023 “African Lion” exercise, a series of academic preparatory training courses in several operational areas kicked off on May 22 at the Headquarters of the Southern Zone in Agadir.
The General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) explained in a statement that these training courses, underway until June 2, will benefit a hundred officers and non-commissioned officers from both Morocco and partner countries, who will receive certificates by the end of their training.
The statement also added that in addition to the areas relating to the African Lion exercise, the training courses also focus on joint operational planning, legal aspects, public information, medical planning, cybersecurity, and joint exercise evaluation techniques.
The General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) concluded that the 19th edition of the “African Lion” multinational joint exercise is scheduled to take place between June 2 and 16 in six Moroccan regions, namely Agadir, Benguerir, Kenitra, Mahbes, Tiznit, Tifnit, and Tantan.
