Morocco and Saint Kitts and Nevis expressed, on April 17 in Rabat, their full commitment to strengthening cooperation through the conclusion of a new generation cooperation roadmap for the next three years (2024-2026) and the exchange of expertise in different areas of common interest.
In a joint press release published following talks between the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Denzil Llewellyn Douglas, the two parties highly commended the current level of relations between the two friendly countries.
The two parties also discussed several issues of common interest and prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation to meet the aspirations and ambitions of Morocco and Saint Kitts and Nevis.
In this regard, Saint Kitts and Nevis commended the cooperation program launched by Morocco in 2013 in the field of agriculture through the supply of fertilizers which has greatly benefited the farmers of the countries members of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECO).
For his part, Bourita praised the results of the elections held on August 5, 2022, in Saint Kitts and Nevis, which are a key element in maintaining good governance, prosperity, and stability in the sub-region of the Caribbean.
