His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a message of congratulations to Fatima Ezzahra El Mansouri, following her election as the new Secretary-General of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM).
In this message, the Sovereign expressed to El Mansouri His congratulations on the success of the party’s fifth national congress, which constituted a platform to discuss the establishment of organizational governance, to assume, according to a renewed approach, the roles assigned to political parties by the Constitution and to determine the positioning of the party among other groups that are engaged in Morocco’s democratic and development project.
“We extend our congratulations to you on the occasion of your election by the National Council as coordinator of the collegial management of the General Secretariat of the Authenticity and Modernity Party which counts among its members Messrs. Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid and Salaheddine Abou El Ghali,” stated His Majesty the King, while expressing his sincere wishes for success in fulfilling their new missions.
In the same context, the Sovereign noted that this election not only confirms the respect that El Mansouri enjoys among the members of the political scene but also illustrates the now-deserved place of Moroccan women in various fields.
“We are convinced that thanks to your humane qualities, your proven competence and expertise, and your unwavering attachment to the constants of the Nation, you will continue to work, within the framework of your new partisan responsibilities, in favor of the consolidation of the place of your party and its active involvement, through its position in the political landscape, in the service of promoting what We aspire, namely the need to strengthen confidence in political parties and their credibility, through the anchoring of noble political culture and exercise, based on serious interaction with the legitimate aspirations of citizens and selfless action for the general interest as the ultimate goal of any political partisan act”, continues His Majesty the King.
