The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi El Alami, held talks on February 7 in Rabat with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Panama, Vladimir Franco.
According to a press release, this meeting, which took place in the presence of Panama’s Ambassador to Morocco, Tomas Antonio Guardia, focused mainly on bilateral cooperation, particularly in the parliamentary field.
During this meeting, the two parties also stressed the importance of strengthening relations between the two countries through the exchange of expertise, working visits, the revitalization of the parliamentary friendship group as well as regional and international parliamentary coordination, all while respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of States and without any interference in their internal affairs.
Franco also had a meeting with the Speaker of the House of Councilors, Enaam Mayara, which was an opportunity to express the determination of both parties to consolidate their relations and give new impetus to cooperation between Morocco and Panama in several fields.
