Guinea commended, on July 10 in Dakhla, Morocco’s constant efforts under the Wise and Enlightened Leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to promote peace and development in Africa.
In a joint statement issued following the 7th session of the Morocco-Guinea Joint Cooperation Commission, co-chaired by Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, and his Guinean counterpart, Morissanda Kouyaté, the two parties affirmed their commitment to contributing to the preservation of peace and stability on the African continent.
Bourita and Kouyaté praised the constant efforts made by Morocco under the Wise leadership of His Majesty the King, and President of the Transition, President of the National Committee of Reconciliation and Development (CNRD), Head of State, Commander-in-Chief of the Guinean Armed Forces, His Excellency Colonel Mamady Doumbouya, in favor of peace and development in Africa.
The Moroccan minister and his Guinean counterpart also reaffirmed their Heads of State’s commitment to achieving lasting peace and economic development on the African continent, particularly through the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
The two parties also praised their similar views on several regional and international issues of common interest, reiterating their commitment to contributing to the settlement of disputes in Africa.
