The organizing committee of the International Festival of University Theatre of Casablanca, whose 33rd edition is scheduled for next October, intends to organize a scientific meeting focused on theater and its future challenges.
“This edition, which will be organized through the platform of the faculty of letters and humanities of Ben M’sik in Casablanca, will have the participation of directors and managers of international theater festivals, including those of Vietnam, Spain, Mexico, Italy, Egypt and the organizing country Morocco”, the festival stated.
“This meeting will discuss different themes, including theatre and its creative, artistic and cultural aspect, its message and its added value to the cultural scene’’, it added.
“It will also try to address the impact of the pandemic on cultural events, the fate of festivals in the era of this health crisis, and how theater men and innovators intend to deal with the consequences’’, the same source added.
As part of this meeting, the International Festival of University Theatre of Casablanca will present to the audience practical proposals and novelties of its 33rd edition.
