Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation, Abdellatif Miraoui, held talks, on June 20 in Rabat, with the Israeli Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology, Ofir Akunis, accompanied by an Israeli delegation of senior officials.
The Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation reported in a press release that during this meeting, Miraoui and Akunis discussed ways of strengthening bilateral relations in the fields of scientific research and innovation.
According to the Ministry’s statement, this meeting was also an opportunity for the two parties to discuss ways of strengthening the partnership between Moroccan and Israeli universities and research structures with priority given to the mobility of students and lecturers and the participation in joint research projects on themes of common interest.
The Moroccan Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation and the Israeli Ministry of Innovation, Science, and Technology signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in May 2022 in Rabat to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the two ministries’ fields of expertise.
