Marrakech will host Gitex Africa Morocco 2023, the largest and most important technology and start-up event in Africa, between May 31 and June 2.
According to a statement from the organizers of the event, a venue is currently under construction. It will accommodate over 900 exhibitors and start-ups from 95 countries and will offer a space for exchange and meetings between key actors in the global digital economy.
Gitex Africa Morocco 2023 attracts international and local companies seeking investment in Africa’s huge technological potential. Among these companies, we find IBM, which aims to strengthen its presence in Africa through hybrid and artificial intelligence.
Another company is Kabersky, a global cybersecurity company that seeks to invest in Africa’s vast potential by securing the continent’s fast-growing technologies and economies.
The event will also bring together major actors in the Moroccan technology field, namely Maroc Data Center, MTDS, Ribatis and CASANET, that seek to promote the fast-growing technological revolution in Africa.
Gitex Africa Morocco 2023 will feature a multi-sector conference program, including the Gitex Africa Digital Summit, bringing together over 250 leaders, policymakers, investors, and academics to guide the transformation of Africa into a single digital market.
The press release further added that Gitex Africa Morocco 2023 is partnering with North Star, the world’s largest startup event, to host North Star Africa.
North Star Africa will bring together over 400 start-ups, including 100 Moroccan start-ups, to strengthen their presence and expand their connections in a rapidly growing African technology ecosystem.
