As part of the international COVAX initiative, Morocco received 650,400 doses of AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine last night.
“In accordance with the national strategy for purchasing and distributing anti-COVID-19 vaccines, we welcome the receipt of this new batch of vaccines obtained under the COVAX initiative. This new batch is essential for the maintenance and the continuation of our vaccination program, and it will allow us to return to a normal life as quickly as possible “, declared on the occasion the Minister of Health, Khalid Ait Taleb.
To date, Morocco has received as part of the Covax program 1,910,400 doses:
