The Royal Moroccan Athletics Federation has announced that the 6th edition of the Rabat International Marathon will kick off on April 30, under the high patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
According to the Federation, a marathon, a half-marathon, and a 10-kilometer race are among the sporting activities which some of the top Moroccan and foreign athletes will partake in.
The 5th edition of this marathon witnessed the set of two new records and a strong presence of the Moroccan athletes among more than 24,000 runners.
In the last edition, Kenya swept the first place in both men and women race categories thanks to its two runners Sammy Kigeon and Sylvia Kibet.
